WELDER – TIG & ARC

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a TIG / SMAW Welder.
• Must have experience working in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical plants.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Skilled in TIG (GTAW) and SMAW (Stick) welding processes.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform accurate material preparation and welding operations.
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and industrial fabrication standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial environments.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding activities using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG/GTAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW/Stick) processes.
• Join and repair metal components used in industrial equipment, piping systems, structures, and fabrication works.
• Read and interpret blueprints, welding drawings, symbols, and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, and fitting components prior to welding.
• Set up welding machines, tools, and equipment according to job requirements.
• Perform precision welding while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Follow approved welding procedures and safety protocols in industrial environments.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure tools are in proper working condition.
• Comply with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, especially in oil and gas and petrochemical plant environments.
