Lamprell Energy Ltd. is seeking skilled Welders to support construction projects in the oil & gas, petrochemical, and infrastructure sectors in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidates will perform high-quality welding works using SMAW and FCAW processes, including 6GR position welding, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.

WELDER (SMAW+FCAW+6GR)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years relevant welding experience.
• Must be a male applicant.
• Proven experience in construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.
• Skilled in SMAW, FCAW, and 6GR welding positions.
• Must hold valid WQT (Welding Qualification Test) certificates and supporting experience certificates as a welder.
• Strong understanding of welding procedures, safety standards, and fabrication practices.
• Ability to work in physically demanding industrial environments.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work under supervision and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding works using SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) and FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) processes.
• Execute welding in 6GR position for pipes and structural components as required by project specifications.
• Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Carry out welding tasks for oil & gas, petrochemical, construction, and infrastructure projects.
• Ensure weld quality meets required codes, standards, and inspection criteria.
• Conduct preparation of materials including cutting, grinding, and alignment prior to welding.
• Perform welding repairs and rework when required based on inspection feedback.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, including use of PPE and safe hot work practices.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper handling of tools and consumables.
• Coordinate with supervisors and inspection teams to ensure timely completion of welding activities.
• Support quality control processes, including welding inspections and testing procedures.
