Welder

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Welder in construction, industrial, or oil & gas projects.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in oil & gas, refineries, energy, or heavy industrial projects is an advantage.
• Must be skilled in one or more welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), welding certificates, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding work on steel structures, pipelines, and metal components according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret welding symbols, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Use welding techniques such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or other required processes based on job assignment.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and aligning parts prior to welding.
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality, strength, and compliance with standards.
• Repair defective welds and carry out necessary corrections as instructed.
• Follow welding procedures, safety regulations, and permit-to-work systems at all times.
• Operate welding equipment and tools safely and maintain them in good condition.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades to complete fabrication and installation works.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and comply with environmental and safety policies.
