Abdullah A Al Barrak & Sons Co. is seeking skilled and experienced Welders to join its fabrication team in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidates will be responsible for performing high-quality welding works on pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers while following approved welding procedures, safety standards, and project specifications.

WELDER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Welder in industrial fabrication.
  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering (Metal Fabrication, Tool & Die, Welding) or a related field.
  • Must have a valid 6G welding qualification with proficiency in all welding positions.
  • Proven experience in welding pressure vessels, tanks, and heat exchangers.
  • Skilled in SMAW, FCAW, GTAW/TIG, and orbital welding processes.
  • Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel materials according to WPS requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety practices, and quality standards.
  • Ability to read and understand fabrication drawings and welding procedures.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding operations on pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers using various welding processes, including:
    • SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding)
    • FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
    • GTAW / TIG (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding)
    • Orbital welding processes
  • Perform welding in all positions while maintaining quality and accuracy.
  • Hold and utilize valid 6G welding qualification for industrial fabrication works.
  • Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy steel materials according to approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
  • Read and interpret welding drawings, symbols, and technical specifications.
  • Inspect welds to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
  • Perform proper preparation, fitting, and alignment of materials before welding.
  • Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work areas in safe operating condition.
  • Follow safety procedures, company policies, and quality control requirements.
  • Coordinate with supervisors and quality inspectors to ensure successful completion of welding activities.
