PIS Japan LLC is seeking experienced Industrial Manufacturing Welders under Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) program. The successful candidate will perform welding, fabrication, assembly, and metal finishing work in a manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality, precision, productivity, and workplace safety.

WELDER (Industrial Manufacturing)

Qualifications:

• At least a High School graduate.
• Physically and mentally fit to work abroad.
• Medically fit for overseas employment.
• Willing to work in Japan under a 5-year Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) contract.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations on metal components using approved welding processes and techniques.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, fitting, grinding, and aligning metal parts before welding.
• Inspect welded joints to ensure compliance with quality standards and manufacturing specifications.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools safely and efficiently.
• Repair defective welds and perform finishing work as required.
• Conduct routine inspection and basic maintenance of welding equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area following Japanese manufacturing standards.
• Follow quality control procedures and participate in production improvement activities.
• Comply with workplace safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and production teams to meet production schedules and quality targets.
• Perform other welding and fabrication duties assigned by management.
