Lamprell Energy Ltd. is seeking skilled FCAW Welders (3G & 4G positions) to support offshore and onshore oil & gas construction projects in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will perform high-quality flux-cored arc welding in structural applications, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and strict safety requirements.

Welder – FCAW (3G & 4G)

Qualifications:

  • Experience in offshore and oil & gas projects is required.
  • Aramco project experience is an advantage.
  • Must be skilled in FCAW welding in 3G and 4G positions.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.
  • Strong understanding of welding standards and safety practices.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in demanding industrial environments.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team under supervision.
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and safety compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform welding using FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) in 3G and 4G positions on structural components.
  • Read and interpret welding drawings, specifications, and job instructions.
  • Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fit-up verification.
  • Ensure welds meet required quality standards, codes, and inspection criteria.
  • Carry out repair and rework welding based on inspection findings.
  • Work on offshore and oil & gas construction projects following strict safety procedures
  • Collaborate with supervisors, fabricators, and inspection teams to complete assigned tasks.
  • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper handling of consumables.
  • Follow all HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) regulations and company policies.
