Australian Skilled Migration is currently recruiting qualified and experienced Volkswagen Auto Technicians for employment opportunities in Australia.

The position is for automotive technicians with strong hands-on experience in Volkswagen vehicles, including vehicle diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting.

VOLKSWAGEN AUTO TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Experience must be specifically with the Volkswagen brand.
• At least 5 years of work experience as an Auto Technician in a dealership.
• Must have relevant hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repair.
• If not currently employed, there must be no more than a one-year employment gap.
• Must have completed at least one year of college (two semesters) to qualify for an IELTS exemption.
• If a vocational graduate, must have completed at least one year of vocational study.
• Vocational graduates must be able to provide both a Transcript of Records (TOR) and Diploma.
• The TOR must show two completed semesters, with at least three academic subjects per semester, to qualify for the IELTS exemption.
• Certificate of Employment (COE) for the position applied for, if available.

Responsibilities:

• Perform scheduled servicing, preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on Volkswagen vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle faults.
• Use appropriate automotive diagnostic tools and equipment to identify problems accurately.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems and determine appropriate repair procedures.
• Perform mechanical repairs and replacement of defective or worn components.
• Inspect engines, transmissions, braking systems, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
• Carry out electrical and electronic diagnostics and repairs.
• Conduct vehicle testing after repairs to verify proper operation and safety.
• Follow Volkswagen technical specifications, manufacturer procedures, and dealership standards.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed.
• Follow workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment.
