ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, repair, and electrical installation works.
• Skilled in diagnosing technical and electrical issues.
• Ability to identify and prepare material requirements for maintenance and repair activities.
• Strong understanding of electrical maintenance procedures and practices.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be physically fit and capable of performing technical and maintenance work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment, systems, and installations.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and technical problems.
• Conduct inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform electrical repairs and corrective maintenance as required.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical components, equipment, and systems.
• Identify electrical faults and determine appropriate corrective actions.
• Use appropriate tools and testing equipment safely and effectively.
• Prepare and identify required materials, tools, spare parts, and equipment for maintenance activities.
• Support scheduled and emergency maintenance operations.
• Inspect electrical installations to ensure proper operation and compliance with required standards.
• Conduct testing after repair or installation to verify safe and proper operation.
• Maintain records and reports related to maintenance, inspections, repairs, and testing activities.
• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel when addressing technical issues.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and electrical safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other electrical maintenance duties as assigned.
