ELECTRONIC TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Technical Diploma in Electronics, Electronics Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience specializing in electronic maintenance or a related technical field.
• Strong experience in various electronic maintenance and technical works.
• Specialized technical experience in coordinating maintenance activities and technical teams.
• Experience distributing work among teams and technicians.
• Experience managing and directing maintenance reports and documentation.
• Knowledge of maintenance program planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
• Strong electronic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to diagnose, repair, test, and maintain electronic equipment and systems.
• Ability to lead or coordinate technical personnel and maintenance teams.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with supervisors and technical staff.
• Physically fit and capable of performing technical maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Perform electronic inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of assigned systems and equipment.
• Diagnose electronic faults using appropriate testing instruments and diagnostic tools.
• Inspect electronic components, wiring, circuits, controls, and related equipment for defects or abnormal operation.
• Repair, replace, adjust, and test defective electronic components and systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to established procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate daily technical and maintenance activities with supervisors and other departments.
• Distribute and assign work among maintenance teams and technicians based on operational requirements.
• Monitor the progress and completion of assigned maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical guidance and assistance to maintenance personnel when required.
• Coordinate work teams to ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Prepare, review, and maintain maintenance reports, work orders, and technical records.
• Monitor maintenance program activities and ensure scheduled work is properly completed and documented.
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance activities and technical service requirements.
• Review equipment conditions and identify recurring technical problems.
• Coordinate with other technical disciplines when electronic issues affect mechanical, electrical, or other systems.
• Conduct testing after repairs to verify proper equipment operation.
• Follow technical manuals, maintenance procedures, manufacturer specifications, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools, testing instruments, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Report major equipment faults, technical issues, and maintenance requirements to management.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with workplace health and safety standards.
• Perform other electronic maintenance, technical coordination, and supervisory duties assigned by management.
