Vehicle Mechanic

Qualifications:

• Male applicants only.
• Must have at least 5 years of relevant experience in a dealership company.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic in an automotive dealership or professional workshop.
• Skilled in replacing worn vehicle components such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors.
• Able to perform vehicle repairs according to manufacturer specifications and customer requirements.
• Knowledge of automotive inspection, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair procedures.
• Able to use common automotive tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good understanding of vehicle safety and proper repair procedures.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with customers, service advisors, technicians, and supervisors.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on automotive repair work.
• Reliable, hardworking, responsible, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Conduct vehicle checks to identify mechanical problems, worn components, and potential safety issues.
• Diagnose vehicle faults using appropriate diagnostic tools, equipment, and repair procedures.
• Replace worn or damaged vehicle components, including brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors, and other related parts.
• Perform brake system inspection, repair, adjustment, and component replacement.
• Inspect wheel bearings and replace worn or defective components as required.
• Inspect vehicle sensors and replace faulty sensors when necessary.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Carry out repairs based on manufacturer specifications and approved workshop procedures.
• Address customer-reported vehicle problems and perform appropriate repairs.
• Conduct road tests and functional checks after repairs to verify proper vehicle operation.
• Use automotive hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and workshop machinery safely and correctly.
• Follow technical manuals, service procedures, repair instructions, and manufacturer recommendations.
• Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings to supervisors or service personnel.
• Ensure repair work is completed accurately, efficiently, and within the required service schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, parts replaced, and other service activities.
• Keep tools, equipment, workstations, and the workshop clean and organized.
• Follow workplace safety, environmental, and vehicle handling procedures.
• Coordinate with service advisors, technicians, supervisors, and other workshop personnel.
• Communicate clearly regarding vehicle conditions, repair requirements, and work progress.
• Perform other automotive maintenance and repair duties assigned by management.
