Vacuum Pipe Handler – 12.5T

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Pipe Handler or similar heavy equipment operator role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in oil & gas, pipeline construction, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Skilled in operating vacuum lifting systems and pipe handling equipment.
• Knowledge of lifting safety standards, rigging procedures, and equipment maintenance.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction and industrial environments.

Responsibilities:

• Operate 12.5-ton vacuum pipe handler equipment safely and efficiently for lifting, handling, and positioning pipes and related materials.
• Use vacuum lifting systems to securely grip and move pipes without causing damage during loading, unloading, or installation activities.
• Assist in pipeline construction activities including alignment, placement, and preparation of pipes for welding or installation.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure equipment is in safe working condition, including vacuum systems and lifting components.
• Monitor suction pressure, load stability, and equipment performance during all lifting operations.
• Follow approved lifting plans, site instructions, and safety procedures at all times.
• Coordinate with riggers, signalmen, and supervisors to ensure safe and accurate pipe handling operations.
• Ensure proper positioning and safe movement of materials in various site conditions and terrains.
• Maintain daily logs of equipment usage, inspection records, and operational reports.
• Report any equipment malfunction, vacuum failure, or safety hazards immediately to supervisors or maintenance teams.
