Trailer Driver

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience (international experience is an advantage, but first-time overseas applicants are welcome).
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license restrictions with C, CE category.
  • Minimum Education: High School Graduate.
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good mathematical ability and strong reading comprehension.
  • Fit to work, with no medical restrictions.

Responsibilities:

  • International freight transport: operating long-haul tractor‑trailer combinations across Europe, often including UK, EU and cross‑channel routes.
  • Vehicle preparation & pre-trip checks: ensuring tractor and trailer are clean, fuelled, properly connected and physically sound before departure.
  • Load securing & cargo handling: verifying that goods are properly loaded, secured (with straps, locks, binders etc.), and unloaded safely at destinations.
  • Route adherence & delivery coordination: following planned routes, coordinating with dispatch, ensuring timely delivery of freight.
  • Safety procedures & compliance: adhering to traffic and company safety rules, using tachographs, navigation systems, and following ADR rules if transporting hazardous goods
  • Basic preventive maintenance & reporting: checking tires, oil, battery; reporting issues or incidents; performing simple troubleshooting if necessary
