Aureol Global Connections is seeking a skilled and experienced Timber Frame Erector for an overseas work opportunity in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and erecting timber frame structures accurately and safely while following construction plans and project specifications.

TIMBER FRAME ERECTOR

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in various timber framing techniques.
• Practical experience in timber frame erection, carpentry, or related construction work is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of timber materials, framing components, and construction methods.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and installation.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and handling timber materials.
• Ability to work at heights and in different weather conditions when required.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• Safety-conscious, reliable, and hardworking.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and erect timber frame structures according to construction drawings and specifications.
• Apply appropriate timber framing techniques for different construction requirements.
• Measure, cut, position, and secure timber components accurately.
• Install wall frames, roof structures, floor systems, and other timber components as required.
• Check timber frames for correct alignment, level, dimensions, and structural positioning.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and measurements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and correctly.
• Ensure timber components are properly secured using appropriate fixings and methods.
• Identify damaged or unsuitable timber materials and report issues to the supervisor.
• Work closely with carpenters, builders, and other construction workers to meet project requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe working practices when working at heights.
• Perform other timber framing and construction duties as assigned.
