VHV METALL SRO is seeking experienced TIG/MIG Welders to join its fabrication team. The successful candidates will perform precision welding on various metals, interpret technical drawings, and ensure high-quality assembly and repair of structural components according to European standards.

TIG/MIG WELDER

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years working experience in TIG/MIG welding or metal fabrication
  • Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in welding, fabrication, or related technical fields
  • Strong proficiency in precision welding and high-quality metal finishing
  • Knowledge of European technical standards, drawings, and welding symbols
  • Ability to handle workshop equipment safely and efficiently
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality fabrication standards

Responsibilities:

  • Perform precision TIG welding for thin materials or clean finishes (stainless steel and aluminum)
  • Conduct heavy-duty MIG/MAG welding for thicker structural components (carbon steel)
  • Interpret detailed engineering drawings, European technical documentation, and welding symbols to plan layouts and fabrication steps
  • Cut, clamp, grind, bevel, and tack-weld raw metal pieces into jigs or fixtures prior to final production
  • Set up and calibrate welding machines, including amperage, gas flow, and wire speed, and perform basic machine maintenance
  • Operate workshop equipment, including hand tools, grinders, and occasionally overhead cranes or forklifts for moving heavy steel segments
  • Join, fabricate, and repair metal structures using MIG/MAG (Process 135) and TIG (Process 141) welding
  • Ensure all work meets precision, safety, and quality standards according to European technical requirements
