Teppanyaki Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a Teppanyaki Cook or Teppanyaki Chef.
- Proven ability to prepare Teppanyaki tables and perform live cooking service in front of guests.
- Skilled in preparing a wide variety of Teppanyaki ingredients, including meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, and sauces.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, food safety, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to maintain established food quality standards during storage, production, and service.
- Familiarity with opening and closing procedures for assigned production areas.
- Willingness to assist other galley sections as directed by the Chef de Partie.
- Confident, outgoing personality with excellent guest interaction and presentation skills.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and working in a shipboard galley environment.
- Willing to work onboard Disney Cruise Line under a rotational contract.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Teppanyaki dishes using traditional cooking techniques and company recipes.
- Perform live Teppanyaki cooking demonstrations while entertaining and engaging guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Prepare the Teppanyaki station and ensure all ingredients, tools, and equipment are ready before service.
- Portion, season, and cook meats, seafood, vegetables, rice, and other ingredients according to established quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in food presentation, taste, portion control, and service quality.
- Monitor food storage, preparation, and handling procedures to maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Follow standard operating procedures for opening and closing the assigned production area.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the Teppanyaki station, cooking equipment, and utensils throughout each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels and report ingredient shortages to supervisors.
- Assist the Chef de Partie and other galley sections as directed to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Follow all company policies, maritime regulations, and health and safety standards.
- Work collaboratively with the culinary team to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Participate in training programs and continuously improve culinary and guest service skills.
- Perform other kitchen-related duties assigned by culinary management.
Requirements:

- High School Diploma if High School Graduate
- Diploma and TOR if College Graduate
- Employment certificates (previous to present)
- Trainings attended
- Exit visa and Iqama id (Ex Saudi)
- Passport copy (1 year valid)
