Technician – Facility Equipment

Qualifications:

• Male applicants.
• Diploma, High School graduate, or holder of a Field Training Certificate in Industrial Electricity, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• Completion of recognized training or certification in Food Processing Equipment or Industrial Machinery.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining food production equipment, preferably in 5-star hotels, restaurants, airline catering, or food manufacturing facilities.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical and electro-mechanical systems (knowledge of electronic control systems is an advantage).
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English (knowledge of Arabic is an advantage).
• Ability to interpret electrical diagrams, technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment documentation.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on food production equipment, electrical systems, and electro-mechanical machinery.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair equipment such as conveyor belts, ovens, dishwashing machines, tilting boiling pans, laundry equipment, and other food production machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation.
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders and prioritize repairs for critical production equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment wear, defects, and potential failures before breakdowns occur.
• Read and interpret electrical diagrams, wiring schematics, technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Inspect, maintain, and properly use workshop tools, spare parts, testing equipment, and maintenance materials.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports, service records, and repair documentation.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and equipment downtime with supervisors and production personnel.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop while following company housekeeping and safety procedures.
• Recommend improvements to equipment reliability, maintenance practices, and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace safety regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and Saudi Labor Law.
• Perform other maintenance and technical duties assigned by management.
