We are seeking an experienced and skilled Steel Fabricator to perform fabrication, cutting, welding, and assembly of steel structures and components. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality fabricated works while ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry requirements.

STEEL FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Steel Fabricator, Structural Fabricator, or similar position.
• Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Skilled in cutting, welding, grinding, fitting, and assembling steel structures and components.
• Proficient in SMAW (Shielded Metal Arc Welding), GMAW (Gas Metal Arc Welding), and GTAW (Gas Tungsten Arc Welding) processes.
• Knowledgeable in the safe operation of fabrication tools and equipment.
• Strong understanding of welding quality standards and fabrication procedures.
• Ability to perform accurate measurements and ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail with commitment to quality and safety.
• Physically fit and capable of working in an industrial fabrication environment.
• Willing to comply with company safety rules, procedures, and workplace policies.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols accurately.
• Measure, mark, cut, shape, and assemble steel materials according to project requirements.
• Perform welding activities using SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW welding processes.
• Operate fabrication tools and equipment including grinders, cutting tools, welding machines, and measuring instruments.
• Assemble steel structures, frames, supports, and other fabricated components.
• Perform grinding, finishing, and surface preparation of welded materials.
• Inspect fabricated components to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications.
• Conduct repairs and modifications of steel structures when required.
• Maintain proper use and care of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
