Elite Kuwait For Project Management Co. is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Sports Coaches/Instructors specializing in Basketball, Volleyball, and Swimming to join its sports and recreation team in Kuwait. The successful candidates will be responsible for planning and conducting structured training sessions, developing athletes’ technical skills and physical fitness, and promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship. The ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, recognized coaching qualifications, and experience working with children, youth, or competitive athletes.
SPORTS COACH/INSTRUCTOR (Basketball, Volleyball, Swimming Coach)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Sport Science, Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant coaching experience in basketball, volleyball, swimming, or a related sport.
- Recognized coaching certification relevant to the sport is required.
- First Aid and CPR Certification is required or willingness to obtain certification.
- Proven experience coaching children, youth, amateur, or professional athletes.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and management.
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver structured and engaging training sessions.
- Flexible, responsible, and committed to athlete development and safety.
- Must possess a valid passport and complete employment documents.
- Willing to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and sporting events.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and conduct structured training sessions for basketball, volleyball, or swimming programs.
- Teach sport-specific techniques, tactics, rules, and skills appropriate to athletes’ age and ability levels.
- Develop individualized and team training programs to improve athletic performance and physical fitness.
- Assess athletes’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
- Motivate athletes to achieve their personal and team goals while promoting discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants by enforcing safety procedures and supervising all training activities.
- Prepare athletes and teams for competitions, tournaments, and other sporting events.
- Maintain attendance records, training plans, performance evaluations, and progress reports.
- Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, school representatives, and management regarding training schedules and performance.
- Inspect and maintain sports equipment and training facilities to ensure a safe environment.
- Administer or respond appropriately to first aid situations and emergencies when required.
- Stay updated with coaching methods, sport regulations, and athlete development practices through continuous professional learning.
- Perform other coaching and sports development duties assigned by management.
