General Machinery Pte Ltd (GM Motors) is seeking an experienced Spare Parts Stock Controller to manage the inventory and distribution of automotive spare parts in Fiji. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring stock availability, and supporting efficient workshop and parts operations.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in spare parts inventory control, warehouse operations, or a related field is required.
• Must have good English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, maintenance procedures, and automotive spare parts management.
• Experience in inventory control systems, stock management, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to identify automotive parts and interpret parts catalogs and technical documentation.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of automotive spare parts to ensure adequate stock availability.
• Receive, inspect, label, and properly store incoming spare parts and materials.
• Issue spare parts to workshop personnel and ensure accurate documentation of stock movements.
• Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using stock control systems and manual documentation where required.
• Identify low-stock items and coordinate with the purchasing department for timely replenishment.
• Verify part numbers, specifications, and quantities before receiving and issuing inventory.
• Organize the warehouse to ensure safe, efficient, and systematic storage of spare parts.
• Prepare inventory reports and assist in inventory audits and stock variance investigations.
• Follow company inventory control procedures, warehouse safety regulations, and housekeeping standards.
