PIZZA MAKER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience is required.
• Must be a Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage
• Preparation/Service Management, or a related field.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Skilled in preparing various types of pizzas, particularly Neapolitan-style pizza.
• Knowledgeable in pizza presentation, decoration, dough preparation, and baking techniques.
• Previous work experience in a GCC country is required/preferred.
• Knowledge of proper food handling, hygiene, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce various types of pizzas, particularly Neapolitan-style pizza, according to standard recipes and quality requirements.
• Prepare pizza dough, sauces, cheese, toppings, and other ingredients for daily production.
• Shape, stretch, and portion pizza dough to the required size and thickness.
• Apply sauces, cheese, and toppings evenly and accurately according to specifications.
• Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor oven temperature and baking time to ensure proper cooking and consistent quality.
• Ensure proper presentation, decoration, and plating of pizzas before service.
• Maintain consistency in taste, texture, appearance, and portion size.
• Prepare ingredients and perform mise en place before service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen, workstations, tools, and equipment.
• Follow proper food handling, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
• Minimize food waste and properly store ingredients and prepared products.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Perform other pizza preparation and kitchen duties as assigned.
