Aureol Global Connections is seeking an experienced Sous Chef specializing in European/Western Cuisine to assist in managing kitchen operations within a resort or hotel. The successful candidate will support the Executive Chef, supervise kitchen staff, maintain food quality and presentation standards, and ensure efficient and safe kitchen operations.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar senior culinary position.
- Previous experience working in a resort or hotel is required.
- Specialization in European/Western Cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of professional kitchen operations and food preparation.
- Experience supervising and coordinating kitchen staff.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Strong attention to food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Physically fit and capable of working extended periods in a professional kitchen.
- Must be 49 years old or below.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Executive Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook European and Western cuisine according to established recipes and quality standards.
- Supervise and guide kitchen staff during food preparation and service.
- Ensure consistent food quality, portion control, taste, and presentation.
- Plan and coordinate food preparation according to daily menus and service requirements.
- Monitor the proper use and storage of food ingredients and kitchen supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
- Inspect food preparation areas, equipment, and workstations to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Assist with menu preparation, recipe development, and food presentation when required.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen management team regarding ingredient requirements.
- Help control food waste and maintain efficient kitchen operations.
- Train, coach, and support junior kitchen staff.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth food and beverage service.
- Take charge of kitchen operations in the absence of the Executive Chef or senior management.
- Maintain a professional and organized kitchen environment.
