Mandurah and South Western Glass Pty. Ltd is hiring experienced Solar Panel Installers for deployment in Australia. The company is seeking skilled renewable energy technicians who can install photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential, commercial, and industrial sites while ensuring safety, accuracy, and optimal system performance.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong experience in solar installation, roofing, electrical support, or renewable energy systems.

SOLAR PANEL INSTALLER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Solar Panel Installer or related role.
• Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• At least 1 year in college or vocational graduate may be waived from IELTS/PTE English test requirements.
• Proven experience as a Solar Panel Installer, Roofer, Electrician Assistant, or Renewable Energy Technician.
• Ability to read and interpret installation drawings, electrical diagrams, and specifications.
• Knowledge of solar mounting systems, racking, and installation techniques.
• Understanding of basic electrical principles and safe work practices.
• Physically fit and capable of working at heights and outdoor environments.
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Install photovoltaic (PV) solar panels on rooftops, ground-mounted systems, and commercial structures.
• Assemble and install mounting systems, racking, rails, brackets, and support structures.
• Position and secure solar modules according to approved installation plans and specifications.
• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and orientation of solar panels for maximum energy efficiency.
• Install weatherproofing systems and roof penetration sealing to prevent leaks and ensure durability.
• Read and interpret installation drawings, electrical diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Assist in connecting solar panels to electrical systems under supervision when required.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure correct installation and system performance.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
• Coordinate with team members, supervisors, and electricians on-site.
• Ensure compliance with renewable energy installation standards and guidelines.
