CAS Recruitment Ltd is hiring Semi-Skilled Vehicle Mechanics (Bus) for deployment to Cyprus. The role involves maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and servicing of commercial buses while ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and workplace safety requirements.

SEMI-SKILLED VEHICLE MECHANIC (BUS)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 years of working experience in a similar role with documented references.
• Experience in servicing and repairing commercial vehicles, particularly buses.
• Experience working with Euro 6 engines is highly desirable.
• Experience replacing engines and gearboxes is highly desirable.
• Knowledge and experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment is an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand maintenance manuals, technical drawings, and repair procedures.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
• Knowledge of workshop health and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Energetic, reliable, and capable of working as part of a team.
• Excellent English communication skills are required.
• Must possess a newly renewed passport.
• Physically fit and capable of performing hands-on mechanical work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform fault-finding and diagnostic procedures on vehicle mechanical breakdowns and incidents.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, and repairs on commercial buses.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, engine, transmission, and related vehicle systems.
• Replace and repair engines, gearboxes, and other major mechanical components when required.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure all repairs comply with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and operational safety.
• Follow workshop safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and maintenance teams to ensure efficient fleet operations.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition.
• Assist in minimizing vehicle downtime through effective maintenance planning and repair execution.

Salary Offer:

• Salary starts at €1400.00 Gross monthly.
• Forty-Eight (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week.
• Contract duration is for 2 years.
