SCAFFOLDING SUPERVISOR (IS,IIS or 2T)
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience as a Scaffolding Supervisor in industrial, construction, or maintenance projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Others) or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of scaffold erection, dismantling, inspection, and safety procedures.
- Must be familiar with hanging scaffolding, tower-built scaffolds, and safe load calculations.
- Must be capable of obtaining Saudi Aramco Scaffolding Certification (IS, IIS, or 2T).
- Experience working on Saudi Aramco or large industrial projects is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Thorough understanding of workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, scaffold plans, and technical specifications.
- Physically fit and capable of working in demanding construction and industrial environments.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the safe erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems for industrial, commercial, and maintenance projects.
- Plan and coordinate daily scaffolding activities to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project schedules.
- Inspect scaffolding materials and completed scaffold structures to verify compliance with engineering requirements and safety standards.
- Oversee the installation and dismantling of hanging scaffolds, tower-built scaffolds, and other temporary access structures.
- Perform or verify safe load calculations to ensure scaffolding systems are suitable for their intended use.
- Ensure all scaffold work complies with Saudi Aramco standards, company procedures, and applicable international safety regulations.
- Conduct toolbox meetings, safety briefings, and on-site risk assessments before work begins.
- Monitor scaffolding crews to ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safe work practices.
- Coordinate with engineers, construction supervisors, and safety personnel regarding scaffolding requirements and project progress.
- Maintain scaffolding inspection records, permits, reports, and other project documentation.
- Identify unsafe conditions and implement corrective actions to prevent accidents and operational delays.
- Perform other supervisory duties assigned by management.
