You and I Cooperative is seeking hardworking and disciplined Scaffolders for deployment to Japan under the Technical Intern Training Program (TITP). The successful candidate will assist in scaffolding installation and construction support while following Japanese workplace standards and safety procedures.
SCAFFOLDER
Qualifications:
- Male applicants only.
- Must have at least 3 years of relevant scaffolding or construction experience.
- Applicants should preferably be 35 years old and below.
- Must be at least a High School Graduate.
- Must possess a very good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Committed to learning Nihongo (Japanese language training provided for free).
- Willing to work and adapt to Japanese culture and workplace standards.
- Must be committed to completing the employment contract with the Japanese employer.
- Physically fit and capable of performing construction and heavy manual work.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in outdoor construction environments.
- Team player with good communication and cooperation skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, and dismantle scaffolding structures at construction sites.
- Ensure scaffolding is secure, stable, and compliant with safety standards.
- Assist construction workers by preparing safe elevated work platforms.
- Inspect scaffolding materials and equipment before and after use.
- Follow safety regulations, proper use of harnesses, helmets, and protective equipment.
- Transport scaffolding materials and tools around the worksite safely.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of scaffolding components and work areas.
- Coordinate with supervisors and construction teams during installation and dismantling activities.
- Follow Japanese workplace procedures, discipline, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and productivity throughout the contract period.
