SAFETY OFFICER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in safety supervision, HSE management, or industrial construction safety roles.
• Experience working in LNG plants, Oil & Gas plants, power plants, gas processing plants, petrochemical plants, or other industrial plant projects.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, risk assessment, and hazard control.
• Familiarity with permit-to-work systems and industrial safety procedures.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, audits, and toolbox meetings.
• Knowledge of emergency response procedures and incident investigation.
• Ability to prepare safety reports, risk assessments, and HSE documentation.
• Strong communication, leadership, and training skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in industrial site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and enforce site safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and identify hazards in the workplace.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and project safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and training sessions for workers.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and prepare reports.
• Monitor use of PPE and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Assist in risk assessments and development of safety control measures.
• Coordinate emergency response plans and drills.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation.
• Work closely with supervisors, engineers, and project teams to ensure safe operations.
• Stop unsafe work practices and recommend corrective actions.
