Saudi Arabian Kentz Co. Ltd is seeking experienced and safety-conscious Roller Compactor Operators (Oil and Gas Field Machine Operator) for deployment to Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating compaction equipment for soil, asphalt, and surface preparation activities within oil & gas, refinery, and industrial project sites.
ROLLER COMPACTOR OPERATOR (Oil And Gas Field Machine Operator)
Qualifications:
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Candidates must be at least High School graduates.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a roller compactor operator or heavy equipment operator.
- Experience in oil & gas, refineries, energy, or utilities industries is a strong advantage.
- Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
- Must possess valid proof of experience such as COE, employment certificates, project records, or related documents.
- Strong knowledge of soil and asphalt compaction procedures and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience operating vibratory rollers, compactors, and related road construction equipment.
- Ability to determine proper vibration settings, operating speed, and compaction techniques based on material conditions.
- Ability to conduct equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety standards and operational procedures.
- Physically fit and ready for deployment requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Operate roller compactors safely and efficiently to compact soil, asphalt, gravel, and other construction materials.
- Perform overlapping rolling passes to achieve required density and surface compaction standards.
- Adjust machine speed, vibration settings, and operating direction according to material type and project requirements.
- Conduct daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections including checks on fluid levels, drums, tires, and mechanical systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and report defects, unusual vibrations, or operational issues immediately.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, and fluid checks to ensure equipment reliability.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and ground personnel during compaction operations.
- Follow project specifications, workplace safety regulations, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Maintain accurate equipment logs, inspection reports, and operational documentation.
- Ensure assigned machinery is clean, properly maintained, and ready for daily operations.
