Rigging Incharge

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience as a Rigging Incharge or in a similar supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Proven experience as a Department Head or in a leadership/supervisory position is required.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in shutdown and turnaround maintenance projects, preferably in the oil and gas or industrial sector.
• Strong knowledge of lifting operations, rigging equipment, load calculations, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced industrial environment.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all rigging activities during shutdown and turnaround maintenance projects.
• Lead, coordinate, and monitor the performance of rigging crews to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Plan and execute lifting and rigging activities in accordance with approved lift plans and project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, client specifications, and industry standards for lifting operations.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, supervisors, and other departments to support project schedules and operational requirements.
• Inspect rigging equipment, lifting accessories, and tools to ensure they are safe, certified, and fit for use.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and on-site risk assessments before lifting activities.
• Monitor work progress and ensure all rigging operations are completed within project timelines and quality standards.
• Prepare daily reports and maintain records of rigging activities, inspections, and equipment usage.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to riggers and lifting personnel.
