QUALITY CONTROLLER (FOOD MFG)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience as a Quality Controller, Quality Assurance Inspector, or similar role in a Food Manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000, food safety systems, and quality management standards.
• Familiarity with food manufacturing processes, quality inspection methods, and laboratory testing procedures.
• Ability to interpret product specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and quality documentation systems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong commitment to food safety, product quality, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine quality inspections of raw materials, in-process products, packaging materials, and finished goods.
• Monitor food manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality standards, product specifications, and operational procedures.
• Verify adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), sanitation, and food safety requirements.
• Perform product sampling, testing, and quality evaluations in accordance with established quality control procedures.
• Identify product defects, non-conformities, and process deviations, and report findings to the Quality Assurance team and production supervisors.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) and ensure corrective actions are implemented when required.
• Maintain accurate quality inspection records, laboratory reports, production logs, and documentation.
• Assist during internal, customer, and regulatory audits by providing complete and accurate quality records.
• Ensure proper labeling, packaging, storage, and handling of food products to maintain product integrity.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and maintenance teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, food safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, and occupational health and safety standards.
