Project Manager (QCQA) Modular & Precast Concrete
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior QA/QC management position.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Lead Auditor Qualification in ISO 9001 is essential.
- Professional Engineering Registration is preferred.
- Quality Management certification is an advantage.
- Training in Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement methodologies is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Quality Management Systems
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Plans.
- Establish QA/QC procedures for modular construction and precast concrete production.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements and company Integrated Management System (IMS) standards.
- Develop quality objectives, key performance indicators, and continuous improvement programs.
- Lead quality management reviews and monitor system effectiveness across operational areas.
- Precast Concrete Quality Control
- Oversee inspection and testing activities for precast concrete production.
- Ensure compliance with approved concrete mix designs and engineering specifications.
- Monitor batching, casting, curing, stripping, storage, and transportation processes.
- Review concrete strength testing and laboratory results.
- Manage product release and quality acceptance procedures.
- Modular Construction Quality Assurance
- Develop inspection and testing requirements for modular housing production.
- Ensure compliance with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing specifications.
- Monitor assembly quality and workmanship standards.
- Conduct inspections throughout all production stages.
- Coordinate final quality inspections before shipment and installation.
- Supplier Quality Management
- Evaluate and approve suppliers based on quality standards.
- Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations.
- Monitor incoming material inspections.
- Ensure all materials meet approved specifications.
- Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
- Auditing and Compliance
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits.
- Coordinate external certification and surveillance audits.
- Monitor compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and verified.
- Maintain audit schedules, records, and documentation.
- Client and Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with clients, consultants, laboratories, and regulatory authorities.
- Participate in project quality meetings.
- Coordinate client inspections and factory acceptance tests.
- Manage quality-related communications with stakeholders.
- Support project handover and quality certification activities.
- Reporting and Documentation
- Prepare weekly and monthly quality reports.
- Monitor quality performance indicators.
- Maintain inspection and testing records.
- Ensure proper document control procedures.
- Provide quality performance analysis and recommendations to management.
- Key Performance Indicators
- Achieve 100% compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Ensure all required testing is completed within specified timelines.
- Complete all scheduled internal audits.
- Achieve zero major findings during external certification audits.
- Close audit findings within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain zero major quality-related client complaints.
- Successfully complete client inspections and factory acceptance tests.
- Achieve positive client quality performance feedback.
