PPC Coordinator
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Familiarity with CNC machine software and production planning processes.
- Experience using FastNest software for CNC plate nesting is preferred.
- Knowledge of profile nesting using Excel.
- Ability to analyze inventory and prepare raw material purchase requests based on MTO.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and logistics teams.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate production planning and control activities to support manufacturing operations.
- Prepare CNC machine nesting layouts using FastNest software for plates and Excel-based nesting for profiles to minimize material wastage and scrap.
- Analyze inventory levels and prepare purchase requests for raw materials based on Material Take-Off (MTO) requirements.
- Assist in optimizing material utilization and production efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams regarding job schedules, material availability, and workflow.
- Perform basic AutoCAD-related tasks and review technical drawings when required.
- Arrange transportation and logistics for finished products to galvanizing, painting facilities, and final delivery to clients.
- Monitor production progress and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Maintain accurate production planning records and reports.
- Coordinate with different departments to support smooth project execution.
