Equipment Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in equipment supervision, mechanical maintenance, or a related industrial field.
• Must have experience working in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer Plants, Refineries, Chemical Plants, or similar industrial facilities.
• Must be capable of supervising routine maintenance and repair work in the related field.
• Must have practical knowledge of industrial equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.
• Experience supervising technicians, mechanics, or maintenance teams is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of rotating and static equipment, pumps, compressors, machinery, valves, and mechanical systems is an advantage.
• Must have strong leadership, planning, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be familiar with industrial safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, PPE requirements, and maintenance practices.
• Must be capable of working effectively in demanding industrial plant environments.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to maintain high standards of equipment reliability and workplace safety.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily equipment maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair activities.
• Coordinate and assign tasks to technicians, mechanics, and other equipment maintenance personnel.
• Monitor the condition and performance of industrial equipment and identify maintenance requirements.
• Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure routine maintenance and repair work is performed according to approved procedures and schedules.
• Coordinate maintenance activities involving rotating and static equipment, machinery, pumps, compressors, valves, and other industrial equipment as applicable.
• Review equipment problems, maintenance requirements, and repair recommendations with engineers and maintenance teams.
• Monitor the proper use of maintenance tools, equipment, materials, and spare parts.
• Inspect completed maintenance and repair work to ensure quality and compliance with technical requirements.
• Assist in planning equipment shutdowns, turnarounds, overhauls, and major maintenance activities.
• Ensure maintenance personnel follow permit-to-work systems, lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and site safety standards.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment reports, work orders, inspection findings, and other required documentation.
• Coordinate with operations, engineering, maintenance, and other departments to ensure efficient equipment management.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and recommend appropriate corrective or preventive measures.
• Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with company and project requirements.
