PLUMBER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 2 years of working experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience in plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair works.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, piping networks, drainage systems, valves, fittings, and fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose plumbing issues, identify leaks, and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Familiarity with water heaters, heating systems, pumps, and related plumbing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and plumbing codes.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.

Responsibilities:

• Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, fixtures, and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial facilities.
• Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems, water supply lines, drainage systems, heating systems, and water heaters.
• Diagnose plumbing issues, locate leaks, identify blockages, and perform effective repairs.
• Install and replace plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and related equipment.
• Test plumbing systems for proper functionality, water pressure, and leak-free operation.
• Clear clogged drains, sewer lines, and piping systems using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Carry out preventive maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and efficiency of plumbing systems.
• Read and interpret plumbing plans, layouts, and technical drawings to perform installations accurately.
• Ensure all plumbing work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and serviceable condition.
• Respond to emergency plumbing repairs and maintenance requests as required.
• Prepare maintenance reports and document completed work activities.
