PLC PROGRAMMER

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electromechanical, Electronics, or related field
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-1200, S7-1500, or legacy S7-300/400)
  • Proficiency in TIA Portal and Step 7 programming
  • Experience with WinCC for HMI/SCADA systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and automation schematics
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, program, and commission Siemens PLC systems (S7-1200, S7-1500, or legacy S7-300/400)
  • Configure and maintain HMI/SCADA systems using WinCC
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PLC and automation issues in industrial equipment
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams for seamless integration
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including programs, wiring diagrams, and manuals
  • Support installation, startup, and operational support of automated systems
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians
