We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer to manage and coordinate the planning, scheduling, and execution of fabrication projects involving pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, monitor production progress, coordinate workshop activities, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and project requirements.

PLANNING ENGINEER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Planning Engineer, preferably in fabrication or manufacturing projects.
• Candidates must hold a Professional License (Passed Board/Professional License Examination) in Engineering.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Proven experience managing the planning and execution of fabrication, welding, and assembly of pressure vessels, storage tanks, and heat exchangers.
• Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, fabrication documents, and technical specifications.
• Experience supervising workshop operations and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of ERP-based project planning, material consumption tracking, vendor coordination, and production scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is required.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across departments.
• Sound knowledge of quality assurance, HSE requirements, and fabrication industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
• Prepare project plans, work schedules, manpower allocation, and resource utilization plans.
• Monitor project progress and update schedules to ensure timely completion of fabrication activities.
• Interpret engineering drawings, fabrication plans, and technical specifications to support production planning.
• Coordinate with workshop supervisors, production teams, procurement, quality control, and project management personnel.
• Track material consumption, production progress, and project costs using ERP systems.
• Manage project documentation, progress reports, and schedule updates.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) regulations, and company procedures.
• Identify project risks, schedule delays, and resource constraints, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and project performance.
