Daeah Engineering & Construction Co. Ltd is seeking skilled and experienced Pipe Fitters to join its construction team in Mozambique. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems in accordance with engineering drawings, project specifications, and industry standards while ensuring quality workmanship and workplace safety.

PIPE FITTER

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Pipe Fitter or in a similar role is required.
• No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
• Strong knowledge of piping installation, fabrication, and assembly techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, piping isometrics, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with various piping materials, fittings, valves, and installation methods.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret piping isometric drawings, P&IDs, general arrangement drawings, spool drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel, align, fit, and assemble carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, and other piping materials.
• Install piping systems, valves, flanges, fittings, gaskets, and pipe supports according to approved engineering drawings.
• Ensure proper alignment and fit-up of piping components prior to welding or final installation.
• Perform layout work and verify measurements to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Inspect completed pipe assemblies to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe fitting equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow company safety policies, procedures, and site regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
