PIPE FITTER / FABRICATOR

Qualifications:

• Relevant experience as a Pipe Fitter, Pipe Fabricator, or similar position in construction, industrial, oil and gas, petrochemical, or maintenance projects.
• Good knowledge of pipe fitting, fabrication, alignment, and installation procedures.
• Able to read and interpret piping and isometric drawings.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, beveling, fitting, and assembling pipes and piping components.
• Familiarity with pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, supports, and related piping materials.
• Able to use common hand tools, power tools, and pipe fabrication equipment safely.
• Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately according to project specifications.
• Physically fit and capable of performing demanding industrial and construction work.
• Able to work effectively with welders, fabricators, supervisors, and other site personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret piping drawings, isometric drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, bevel, and prepare pipes and related materials for fabrication and installation.
• Fit and assemble pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, supports, and other piping components.
• Align and position pipe sections accurately before welding or joining.
• Perform pipe fabrication and installation work according to approved drawings and project requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools safely and correctly.
• Check pipe dimensions, alignment, levels, and fit-up before welding or final assembly.
• Install piping supports, brackets, clamps, and related components as required.
• Coordinate with welders, fabricators, supervisors, and other construction personnel.
• Identify fitting, alignment, or dimensional issues and make necessary adjustments.
• Follow workplace safety procedures, permit requirements, and proper handling practices.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and organized condition.
• Perform other pipe fitting and fabrication duties as assigned.
