CAS Recruitment Ltd. – Greek Branch is hiring experienced Pastry Chefs for deployment in Greece. The company is seeking creative, skilled, and highly organized baking professionals who can prepare high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in a fast-paced hospitality environment such as hotels, restaurants, bakeries, or catering services.
This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong expertise in pastry production, dessert presentation, and kitchen leadership.
PASTRY CHEF
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2–5 years of relevant experience as a Pastry Chef in hotels, restaurants, bakeries, or catering environments.
- Strong knowledge of pastry and baking techniques, cake decoration, and dessert preparation.
- Good understanding of food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen operations.
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours and work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Passion for baking, professionalism, reliability, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent English communication skills are required.
- Newly renewed passport is required.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods according to recipes and quality standards.
- Apply advanced pastry and baking techniques including dough preparation, baking, decoration, and finishing.
- Design and decorate cakes and desserts with creativity and attention to presentation.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and appearance of all pastry products.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the kitchen at all times.
- Manage ingredient inventory and assist in stock control and ordering supplies.
- Follow production schedules and ensure timely completion of pastry items.
- Assist in menu development and introduce new dessert ideas and innovations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation, tools, and equipment.
- Work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients and finished products.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary starts at €1,250 gross monthly.
- Forty-two (48) working hours / Six (6) days a week.
- Accommodation will be provided.
- Contract duration is for 2 years.
