Motorcycle Mechanic
As a Motorcycle Mechanic, you will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a wide range of motorcycles and motorbikes. You will work in a professional workshop environment, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to manufacturer and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate testing equipment.
- Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on motorcycles.
- Repair and replace engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other components.
- Conduct tune-ups, oil changes, and preventive maintenance services.
- Inspect and repair fuel, ignition, cooling, and exhaust systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Test ride motorcycles when required to verify repairs and performance.
- Maintain accurate service records and ensure compliance with workplace safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience as a Motorcycle Mechanic.
- Strong knowledge of motorcycle engines, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures.
- Experience servicing and repairing various motorcycle brands and models.
- Ability to use workshop diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and hand tools.
- Relevant trade qualification in Motorcycle Mechanics or Automotive Technology is preferred.
- Ability to read technical manuals and follow manufacturer specifications.
- Good English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be willing to undergo skills assessment and trade testing if required.
- Ready to provide visa documentation, including a valid passport, police clearance, employment certificates, training records, and educational documents.
