Grizzly Capital is seeking experienced Mold Machine Technicians to inspect, maintain, repair, and optimize injection molds used in manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring molds operate efficiently, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting production by maintaining high-quality tooling standards.

MOLD MACHINE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a Mold Machine Technician, Mold Maintenance Technician, or similar role.
  • Deep understanding of injection mold construction, components, and functionality.
  • Proven ability to perform basic toolmaking tasks, including manual machining, grinding, and polishing.
  • Hands-on experience in spotting and fitting to ensure proper mold sealing and alignment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and mold documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality tooling standards.
  • Physically fit and capable of working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Willing to work in Slovakia and comply with company policies and workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot injection molds and related tooling.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure molds remain in optimal working condition.
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, and reassemble molds following maintenance procedures.
  • Diagnose mold defects and recommend appropriate repairs or modifications.
  • Perform basic toolmaking tasks, including manual machining, grinding, polishing, and finishing.
  • Carry out spotting and fitting operations to ensure proper mold sealing, alignment, and functionality.
  • Test molds after repair or maintenance to verify performance and product quality.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, mold designs, and technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and report tooling issues to supervisors.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and maintenance of molds, tools, and equipment.
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and quality standards at all times.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by management.
