KBR Services LLC is hiring experienced Mechanical Workshop Technicians to support maintenance operations in oil & gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer plants in Qatar. The role involves carrying out preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating and static mechanical equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

MECHANICAL WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN (MAINTENANCE)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred for this role.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Must have maintenance experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, or fertilizer plant facilities.
• Hands-on experience in maintaining rotating and static mechanical equipment is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree or College Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on rotating and static mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical faults in industrial machinery.
• Disassemble, repair, replace, and reassemble defective mechanical components.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability.
• Support plant shutdowns, turnarounds, and emergency maintenance work.
• Operate workshop tools, lifting equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, maintenance manuals, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment conditions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and company procedures.
