Mechanical Technician (Millwright/Mechanical Fitter)

Qualifications:

• Male applicants are preferred
• High School or Technical/Vocational Graduate
• Minimum of 3 years experience in shipbuilding, offshore, or Oil & Gas industry
• Strong knowledge in mechanical systems, vessel maintenance, and repair
• Skilled in troubleshooting and maintenance of marine equipment
• Physically fit and able to work in industrial and offshore environments

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of mechanical and electrical systems on ships and vessels
• Conduct routine servicing such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and fuel system maintenance
• Maintain and repair propulsion systems including propellers, shafts, gearboxes, transmissions, and rudders
• Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance activities
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Coordinate with technical teams for efficient maintenance and repair works
