Jeddah Cables Company is seeking qualified and experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to support the maintenance and reliable operation of mechanical equipment and machinery in its cable manufacturing facilities in Saudi Arabia.

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical equipment, inspecting machinery, and carrying out repairs to minimize equipment downtime and maintain efficient manufacturing operations.

Candidates with previous cable manufacturing experience are highly encouraged to apply.

MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Male applicants, 23 to 40 years old.
• At least College Level or College Graduate.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of related work experience.
• Experience in cable manufacturing is a plus.
• Good English communication skills.
• Physically and medically fit.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical equipment problems and perform appropriate repairs.
• Ability to use mechanical tools and maintenance equipment properly.
• Strong problem-solving and technical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
• Willingness to follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment and production machinery.
• Inspect machinery and mechanical components to identify wear, damage, leaks, or other potential problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform mechanical repairs, adjustments, alignment, and replacement of defective components.
• Maintain and repair equipment such as motors, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, shafts, and other mechanical systems as applicable.
• Respond promptly to mechanical breakdowns and maintenance requests.
• Conduct equipment inspections before and after maintenance or repair activities.
• Use appropriate mechanical tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment safely.
• Assist in identifying recurring mechanical problems and recommend corrective measures.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and established maintenance procedures.
• Perform lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, and other routine mechanical maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, repairs, and replacement parts.
• Coordinate with production personnel and other maintenance technicians to minimize equipment downtime.
• Support the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing machinery.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance work area.
• Perform other mechanical maintenance duties as assigned.
