Mandurah and South Western Glass Pty. Ltd is hiring experienced Mechanical Fitters for deployment in Australia. The company is seeking skilled maintenance and installation professionals who can assemble, install, and maintain industrial and manufacturing equipment in accordance with engineering standards and safety regulations.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical fitting experience in manufacturing, industrial, or production environments.

MECHANICAL FITTER

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of working experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
• At least 1 year in college or vocational graduate may be waived from IELTS/PTE English test requirements.
• Must have a valid Philippine Driver’s License.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals.
• Experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, pumps, and production machinery.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team.
• Physically fit and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and commission manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical schematics, and technical manuals.
• Install mechanical components including gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, motors, bearings, shafts, valves, and hydraulic systems.
• Align, level, and calibrate machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform precision fitting, adjustments, and mechanical installations.
• Conduct troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Inspect machinery to ensure proper functionality and operational efficiency.
• Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required.
• Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and workplace procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Record maintenance activities and report defects or abnormalities.
