IBS UNIVERSITY is seeking an experienced and strategic Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives, student recruitment campaigns, and customer engagement activities. The successful candidate will oversee the marketing team and call centre operations, develop effective marketing strategies, strengthen institutional partnerships, and promote the university’s programs to prospective students and stakeholders.
MARKETING MANAGER
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of working experience in marketing or related fields.
- At least 3 years of experience in a managerial role with team leadership responsibilities.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a related field.
- Strong experience in:
- Marketing strategy development
- Digital marketing and branding
- Customer service
- Call centre management
- Sales and recruitment activities
- Experience in education sector marketing is highly preferred.
- Knowledge and understanding of the Papua New Guinea education landscape.
- Experience in public speaking, community outreach, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the Call Centre team to ensure high-quality handling of student inquiries and customer interactions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment campaigns for all university programs.
- Create and implement annual marketing strategies aligned with IBS University’s goals and objectives.
- Lead digital marketing, branding, and promotional activities to increase awareness and enrollment.
- Maintain strong relationships with principals, career advisers, education leaders, and community stakeholders.
- Manage online inquiries and ensure timely, professional, and customer-focused responses.
- Provide leadership, coaching, training, and performance management for marketing staff and call centre officers.
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements to achieve recruitment targets.
- Support public relations activities, community outreach programs, and education events.
- Conduct market research and analyze trends within the education sector.
- Ensure marketing campaigns effectively communicate the university’s programs and services.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the employer.
