Man Basket Truck Operator

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years working experience as a Man Basket Truck Operator or related heavy equipment operator role.
• Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
• Experience in construction, oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of lifting operations, personnel lifting safety standards, and rigging procedures.
• Skilled in operating boom/man basket systems safely at height.
• Overseas experience is preferred, but local experience is accepted.
• Must provide valid proof of experience such as Certificates of Employment (COE), licenses, or project records.
• Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in demanding site conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate man basket truck safely and efficiently for lifting personnel to elevated work areas.
• Position, stabilize, and operate the man basket in accordance with approved lifting plans and safety procedures.
• Conduct pre-operation inspections to ensure all equipment, hydraulics, and safety devices are in proper working condition.
• Coordinate closely with supervisors, riggers, and ground personnel to ensure safe lifting and positioning of workers.
• Ensure proper use of fall protection, harnesses, and other safety equipment for personnel in the basket.
• Monitor site conditions, including weather and ground stability, to ensure safe lifting operations.
• Follow all occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
• Maintain clear communication with signalmen and work teams during all lifting activities.
• Keep daily records of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance requirements.
• Immediately report any mechanical issues or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.
