Qumreya Operation and Maintenance Company is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to operate and monitor food production machinery in a manufacturing facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain product quality, comply with food safety regulations, and perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting while supporting continuous manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience operating food production machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes, machine operation, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with HACCP, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and food safety standards.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Basic mathematics, record-keeping, and English communication skills.
• Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods and performing repetitive production tasks.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining hygiene, safety, and production standards.
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work rotating shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays when required.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and monitor food production machines according to production schedules and work instructions.
• Perform pre-operation inspections to ensure machines are clean, properly adjusted, and ready for production.
• Load raw materials into machines and monitor production processes to ensure efficient operation.
• Adjust machine settings such as speed, temperature, pressure, and timing to meet product specifications.
• Inspect finished products regularly to ensure they meet quality and food safety standards.
• Identify machine malfunctions and perform basic troubleshooting or report issues to the maintenance team.
• Carry out routine cleaning, lubrication, and minor preventive maintenance of production equipment.
• Record production data, machine performance, downtime, and quality inspection results accurately.
• Follow production schedules while minimizing material waste and maximizing productivity.
• Maintain cleanliness of machines and work areas in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Strictly follow HACCP, GMP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.
• Observe workplace health and safety regulations and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinate with production supervisors, quality control personnel, and maintenance technicians to resolve operational issues.
• Assist with inventory checks and material handling when required.
• Perform other production-related duties assigned by supervisors.
