Shanghai Wallon Banquet Catering Management Co., Ltd is seeking experienced Line Cooks to join its culinary team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food, maintaining kitchen efficiency, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • Must hold a Bachelor’s / College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management or a related field.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience in Food and Beverage operations, particularly in food preparation and cooking.
  • Must present original copies of Certificates of Employment (COE).
  • Must possess a valid passport.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, cutting, measuring, and organizing items for food preparation.
  • Cook and prepare main dishes, appetizers, desserts, snacks, and other menu items according to recipes and company standards.
  • Ensure food is prepared and plated accurately, maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure customer orders are completed accurately and served on time.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and kitchen equipment.
  • Follow proper food handling, storage, sanitation, and hygiene procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and kitchen operating procedures.
  • Monitor ingredient quality and report shortages or equipment issues to the supervisor.
