LAUNDRY SPECIALIST

Qualifications:

• Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant work experience as a Laundry Specialist or in a similar laundry operations role.
• Bachelor’s / College Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management, Others, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of laundry operations, fabric care, stain treatment, and textile handling.
• Experience operating commercial laundry and pressing equipment.
• Ability to identify fabric types and apply appropriate washing and drying methods.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Male applicants are preferred for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end laundry processing including sorting, washing, drying, pressing, ironing, and folding of garments and linens.
• Categorize laundry items according to color, fabric type, level of soiling, and care label instructions to prevent damage or discoloration.
• Operate commercial laundry machines, dryers, steamers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Inspect garments and textiles for stains, damages, or special cleaning requirements prior to processing.
• Apply proper cleaning methods and fabric care techniques to maintain garment quality and appearance.
• Monitor laundry inventory including detergents, chemicals, linens, and other supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of laundry equipment and work areas.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times.
• Coordinate with supervisors and clients regarding special laundry requests and service requirements.
• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring timely and high-quality laundry output.
