Kitchen Runner

Qualifications:

  • With experience working in 3-5 star hotel
  • Can communicate well in English
  • Has pleasing personality and good communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately
  • Acting as the point person between Front of the House and Back of the House staff
  • Communicating food orders to chefs, paying attention to priorities and special requests (e.g. food allergies)
  • Assisting the wait staff with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins
  • Handing the order to the chef, double checking orders, matching the food ticket to the customer, and refilling customer’s drinks
  • Check in with customers and take additional orders or refill water, as needed
